Classes

I am a certified Kodaly instructor. As such, my introductory music class for 5-6 year-olds features folk music and singing games that children have played and enjoyed for generations. Children get enough tech and screen time in other parts of their life. They need the fun of playing with other children to be a part of their musical development. Although I start children on the piano who have not taken this class, I find children who have are more excited and ready for traditional piano lessons. This class runs Sept- April. Class sizes are limited to 5 children.

Typical beginning students are 6-8 years old, but I have experience and special methods for beginners of any age (even grandmas!)
